After completing a degree in Automotive Engineering at Huddersfield University I have since worked in the Engineering industry in various roles, within Automotive and Aerospace, for approximately 20 years now. When the UK was hit with the global pandemic I spent a lot of my time, as did many others, working from home. This extra time at home gave me the scope to explore my newfound passion for working with wood. After constructing a pergola in my back garden and an enclosed timber lean to to the side of my house I was totally hooked.

I went on to experiment with making garden furniture and outdoor kitchens using recycled pallet wood, then moving on to using shop bought machined timber.  My made to measure wooden corner garden seats were very popular and I managed to sell a few during lockdown. This then turned into receiving bespoke commissions for benches, playhouses, pergolas and other garden structures. 

Until Summer 2021 I had been working at an Aerospace Engineering company on a temporary contract and therefore felt that this was my chance to make the leap and try my hand at something new and follow my new found passion. I signed up for an intensive wood working & carpentry course and the rest is history. Now here I am doing what I love and using my natural Engineering skills and logic to create bespoke wood work for all of you good people!
